About — exprt.

exprt. was founded in Singapore in 2023 by a group of practitioners who were tired of two things: marketing-driven "best of" roundups that all ranked the same sponsored vendors, and reviews that didn't consider where the reader actually operates.

We publish reviews and head-to-head comparisons of B2B and SaaS products, with a clear regional lens. Every comparison tells you who wins for which market — not a generic "best overall" that ignores pricing in local currency, data residency requirements, or regional payment methods.

Why regional

A SaaS buyer in Sydney, São Paulo, Stockholm, and Singapore are evaluating different products, different pricing, and different regulatory environments. Most publications treat B2B software as a monolithic North American market. We don't. Every review is tagged with the market it's relevant to, and every comparison considers regional factors explicitly.

What we publish

Reviews range from single-product deep dives to multi-product head-to-head comparisons. Each piece includes a summary card with our recommendation, a detailed comparison table, a methodology-driven body, and a "when the answer changes" section describing edge cases.

Who writes

Our editor-in-chief is Kavita Subramaniam, formerly a procurement lead at an APAC-based software company. Contributors are working practitioners: CTOs, CFOs, ops leaders, engineering managers. We pay every contributor, and we publish their names on every piece.

How we stay independent

exprt. doesn't accept sponsored content, pay-for-placement in comparisons, or paid vendor coverage of any kind. Our revenue comes from a paid subscription tier and from aggregated regional research engagements with institutional buyers. See our methodology and disclosures.
