Methodology

How we review

Our research method, sources, conflicts of interest policy, and review update cadence.

Every review and comparison on exprt. follows the same research process. We publish the method so readers can evaluate our work.

Research inputs

We start with the vendor's public documentation — pricing pages, documentation, terms of service, and status pages. We also collect:

Regional context

Every comparison considers the market where the reader operates. Pricing in local currency, local payment methods, regional customer support hours, applicable regulations (GDPR, PDPA, PCI-DSS regional variants), and local integrations are weighted based on the market.

Update cadence

Every published review is revisited at least once per quarter. We update immediately when we learn of pricing changes, product discontinuations, ownership changes, or regulatory actions that affect the vendor. Each review carries a "last updated" date at the top.

How we stay independent

exprt Pte Ltd accepts no sponsored placement. We don't take money from vendors in exchange for coverage, position in comparisons, or favourable review language. Every vendor we review is treated the same: we base conclusions on the evidence, not on who pays.

Affiliate disclosures

For a small number of products, we may include referral links — always clearly marked with an asterisk and disclosed in the footer of the relevant article. Referral revenue never influences which products we review, how we score them, or what we recommend. See our full disclosures.

Corrections

If you find a factual error in a published review, email [email protected] with the URL and the correction. We review within one working day. All corrections are logged at the bottom of the affected article.

Editorial team
